Eneryield has been selected as one of 12 winners of the HEDGE-IoT Open Call 1, receiving EU funding to further develop and validate our AI Fault Prediction and Analytics solution for electric power systems. Through HEDGE-IoT, Eneryield will continue advancing its technology while contributing to the digitalisation and electrification of Europe’s energy sector.
The EU-funded HEDGE-IoT initiative aims to enable the integration of innovative AI and machine learning technologies into the energy system and support the development of a more resilient and reliable European energy infrastructure. HEDGE-IoT brings together 42 European partners across 13 countries from the technology, research, energy and legal sectors, creating a bridge between innovative technologies and established actors to facilitate new collaborations and client relationships.
As power systems become increasingly complex, the need for technologies that provide deeper and more transparent insights into grid conditions continues to grow. Eneryield’s Fault Prediction and Analytics enables utilities to identify developing faults and gain proactive insights that support decision-making in outage and asset management before faults develop into outages.
The GRIDXAI project is intended to support Eneryield’s mission to secure and simplify the electrification of society by enabling more proactive decision-making by predicting evolving faults, providing transparent analytics insights, thus contributing to more reliable and resilient power grids.
The EU funding provides further support for the development and validation of our technology while creating opportunities for new international collaborations and partnerships.
